FlightGuard is an experimental service that provides an estimate of the risk of cancellation or delay for flights, based on the analysis of publicly available data.

The risk score is purely indicative. FlightGuard does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information provided. The service does not replace the official communications of the airline or the airport.

The risk score is calculated by aggregating data from public sources including weather data, fuel price information, news about strikes and disruptions, notices to airmen (NOTAM) and historical flight performance data. The data is updated periodically but may not reflect the real-time situation.

Email alerts are a free service. FlightGuard does not guarantee the delivery of emails nor the timeliness of notifications. The user may request the cancellation of their alerts at any time.

The user may withdraw consent to commercial communications at any time via the unsubscribe link present in every email or by writing to privacy@flightguard.app. Withdrawal of consent to commercial communications does not affect the receipt of transactional alerts relating to monitored flights.

6. Affiliate links and commercial partners

Some links present on the site, on content pages and in emails (for example, towards flight compensation services such as Compensair or AirHelp, and travel insurance such as EKTA) are affiliate links managed through the Travelpayouts platform. If you make a purchase or start a claim through these links, FlightGuard may receive a commission, at no additional cost to you.

The partners' services are provided exclusively by the partners themselves and governed by their own terms, conditions and privacy policy. FlightGuard is not party to the contract between you and the partner and is not responsible for the quality, the outcome (e.g. acceptance of a claim or payment of compensation), the availability or any disputes relating to the partners' services. Indications of eligibility for compensation (e.g. EU261) are purely indicative and do not constitute legal advice.

9. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The modifications will be effective from the date of publication on this page.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the court of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
